| Notes | Store opened in 1901 at Briggate & King Edward Street. The address changed in 1911 to 112-114 Briggate & King Edward Street and then in 1918 became 112-114 Briggate. A Library was added from c1929. The store relocated to 76-77 Briggate on the 15 Nov 1951, with Mr J P Hutchings as store manager. The store was moved again in Aug 1977 to 19 Albion Arcade and the branch fully refitted in the Autumn of 1985. |
